Small Country Home
The Nestlehuts much prefer nature over electronics and so there really aren’t any in the home, other than an old jukebox that Robin rescued from a closing diner. When building the house, they took location into careful consideration. They wished to have some privacy while still being close to a fishing hole. They were ecstatic to discover that their home would have a small pond of their own! With Wren’s joy of knitting, they knew they would have to double their small guest room as a knitting room as well. Wren loves to rock in her chair slowly while reminiscing or working on her latest project. In addition to the firepit out back, there is also a large fireplace inside the home. What can I say, sometimes the elderly get cold? Besides, Robin loves to nap on the couch in front of a raging (and contained) fire.
Inside, first floor: kitchen, dining, living, guest bedroom/hobby room, bathroom, laundry room
Second floor: master bedroom and bath
Outside: porch, backyard, front yard, side yard
Guest Bedroom/Hobby Room
This small guest bedroom and hobby space holds a lot of room for both comfort and creativity. With all the knitting supplies tucked away and on the walls, there remains plenty of room for a guest to feel comfortable. Bonus: with all the knitting getting done in this room, it’s decorated with some of the finished products!
