Build . Room . Sim

Quiet Cottage

This quiet peaceful cabin has a beautiful relaxing garden and pond ready to welcome your favorite sim and their little dog. With three bedrooms and 2 baths, this home is ready for either a small family or your sim's overnight guests. The spacious open floorplan allows for easy flow between common areas and the large garden.

Inside: entry, living room, kitchen, dining

This open floor plan design allows the sim to breeze through the common areas and see what's going on just about anywhere outside of the private areas. Among the human furniture, you will also find dog beds, toys, food bowl, and other dog must haves.

Inside: Art/Storage Closet, Powder Room, Pantry, Laundry Room

As Millie is an artist and clearly an amazing garden revivalist, there is a small room for storing her paintings, gardening supplies, and a flower arranging station. There is also a small 1/2 bathroom just off the kitchen next to the pantry. The laundry room is spacious allowing for plenty of room to keep things clean.

Inside: Main bedroom and bathroom, with walk-in closet

This bright, and yet surprisingly relaxing, main bedroom comes with its own massage chair for a proper pampering after a long day dog training or tending to the garden. There is easy access to the attached full bathroom, including a private toilet room for privacy should there be any *ahem* guests spending the night. There is, of course, also a place for Millie's dog to sleep. On the other side of the attached bathroom you'll find a walk-in closet allowing plenty of room for Millie to try on her designer clothes.

Inside: Guest bedrooms with shared bathroom

Although Millie lives alone with her dog, she does enjoy having guests over, especially her little twin nieces. So there is a bedroom for her adult guests as well as a room specifically for two little girls. The two rooms share an attached full bathroom. The little girls' room includes a real vanity in which to practice their make-up skills! It's also the only room in the house with a TV because Millie would prefer to spend her time either training her dog, tending to the garden, relaxing by the pond, or working on her latest painting.

Three Heirlooms

Millie kept three heirloom pieces passed down through the generations, including: a grandfather clock that her actual grandfather made, a globe bar that has seen some things over the years, and some hand-painted dishes that are proudly on display.

Outside: front an back yards with training equipment for her dog

The front and side yards are absolutely bursting with flowers, showing the great length that Millie has gone to in order revive her great-grandmother's old pride and joy. In the rear of the home, there is comfortable seating on the back porch in addition to a BBQ and table. Just as Millie only wants the best for herself, she'll settle for nothing less with her dog. And so the back yard also has several dog equipment pieces for ongoing training.

Outside: Side garden path and pond

The side garden path and pond is something that must be seen to be believed. The path meanders through a truly luscious garden that is clearly well-loved. Millie poured her heart (and money) into bringing this garden not only back to its former glory, but then some! Millie extended the path into the pond so that she could sunbathe next to her favorite swans and listen to the trickling sounds of her personal waterfall. There is also plenty of material to paint in the side yard and so Millie keeps an easel out there year-round.

Millie's Living Room

Millie's original living room is part of an open floor plan and so this is a modified room that reflects it. A cozy but bright living room made for quiet entertaining with friends by the fireplace and glass of fizzy in hand.

Millie & Missy

Millie recently inherited her wealthy great-grandmother's house and garden. Luckily, she also inherited her great-grandmother's wealth because Millie loves to be fashionable and only wears high-end clothing. She can be a bit snobby but she just considers it good taste. As an ambitious perfectionist, Millie has big plans for her inherited home and property.

She also spoils her little Bichon Frisé, Missy, rotten. It's a good thing she has a large and peaceful backyard to even out Missy's tendency to be vocal and playful. She's also been so sheltered by Millie that she's a bit jumpy too.

Here is Millie & Missy enjoying their new home and garden:

And, of course, sending their love to Millie's great-grandmother, who now sits in an urn atop the fireplace, for making this all possible.
